Walk around the office and visit each of my employees to see if everything's going good. Deal with a huge email influx and handle all concerns of Managers.
Prepare financial reports and go over reports from the finance department to verify and approve certain Invoices and employee expenses.
If I'm currently "sourcing" to fill positions I will login to various "employer" sites to do searches based on qualifications/application experience. conduct an initial phone interview, if that goes well I'll submit the resume to the Hiring Manager for review. If requested I will then set-up and attend the interview process.
When a new hire is identified, I do all of the on-boarding, everything from set-up in the HR system, to the ordering of a laptop computer.
I also conduct 1 on 1 employee reviews, negotiate contracts if required, and approve all time-sheets as they are submitted.
I love my employees, they are the best part of my job, I really enjoy dealing with people and helping them.
