Enjoyable and challenging, but rewarding working environment
Instructional Assistant Special Education (Former Employee) – Camarillo, CA – January 14, 2015
A typical day at work would include greeting the teacher and the special needs students, prompting and monitoring the students school work and interactions with others, and recording their goals and behaviors for the records.
I learned how to help many different kinds of disabled adults.
The teachers were wonderful and the students were challenging. My co-workers were helpful.
The hardest part of the job was sometimes dealing with difficult behaviors with angry children.
The most enjoyable part of my job was observing the students succeed.
