Pros: good first job.
Cons: no union, with the recent layoffs, there is no job security.
Its a good starter job. Beats flipping burgers for a living. Depending on your skill set or interest, this job can be either boring or a daily learning experience. For the most part, most of your co-workers are stable and dont have issues.

Cons: system is corrupt
TE manager is the worst of communication in English.
His English speaking is worst than illegal Mexican.

Also, technically in the level of technical training school grad.

I can't believe that how could this guy can make to this position.

As Plexus hiring criteria guideline, manager should be strong (Clear and Well communicate) in communication specially – more... in English speaking.

This guy English speaking is so bad and I could not even understand at all.

Of course, customer always has misunderstand regarding to test issues.

Also, QE manager (just joint last year) is lazy like a pig. – less

Managers who know less than nothing treat employees as tho they are less than nothing. Very unprofessional!
If you are a hard working employee you might want to look elsewhere for employment...no mater how hard you work here you will get reprimanded on the floor in front of everyone by management that you need to work harder.

Just recently I had been interviewed for TE opened opportunity. I could not believe that Plexus has such manager. I even could not understand the language (English) he spoke. I could not believe that how the system work in Plexus. Usually, manager should have well and clear communication with all levels and customers. I thought my English speaking is not perfect but I haven't seen a TE manager is a lot worst than me in term of English speaking. Give me a break, how could this guy was promoted to manager and deal with customers daily. It seems that Plexus' organization structure is full of corruptions.

Don't work there. Everyone there tried to act all professional on the outside, but really isn't on the inside. Behind all the lies and act, inside the work environment isn't what you would think it is. Managment don't know what the they are doing. Supervisors dont know what they're doing but bark at everyone to get stuff done. Lazy people doing nothing – more... all day, walking around, talking, trying to get paid to do nothing. Better off finding work somewhere else. If you're a hard worker, I would not recommend this at all. Sometimes hard work goes for nothing. You won't get anywhere unless u act like everyone else. – less

Pros: great people and great hours
Cons: repetitiveness of all work activities
great place to work as far as if you want to live where you work, the12 hour shifts for being 12 on 12 off for 4 days in a row can get tiring, but the added 3 days of to 4 days off rotation compensates for that

1.- Debido a que es una empresa con multiples clientes y varios modelos se presentaban corridas piloto, una vez terminado la corrida piloto y evaluada. se procedia a la estabilizacion del modelo.
2.- Aprendi a solucionar multiples fallas a conocer diferentes tipos de tecnologia a nivel SMT con componentes complejos, el diseño que me llamo mas la atencion – more... es el POP que se trata de colocar un BGA sobre otro.
3.- En mi punto de vista, pienso que se gasta demasiado dinero en la gerencia debido a que habia gerentes para muchos departamentos e inclusive para proyectos que no se encontraban activos y/o ya habian terminado.
4.- Realmente llegamos a formar un gran equipo, donde en conjunto logramos muchos avances para nuestro departamento.
5.- Hay veces que algunos modelos teniamos dificultades por el hecho del proveedor con la materia prima y como este, no se encontraba en la planta y el modelo tenia que concluirse habia que hacer hasta lo imposible para que se diera.
6.- La flexibilidad que tenia la empresa con sus empleados regularmente trataban de establecer un ambiente de trabajo muy cordial y que nosotros como empleados no tuvieramos inconvenientes. – less
