Plum Creek Timber Company was an excellent place to work. My hours were desirable, plus office staff were both fun and friendly. Management did not micro manage and allowed for individuality in this fast paced office.
Tech Support (Current Employee) – Columbia Falls, MT – November 10, 2015
A great company to work for. A group of very dedicated people striving for a common goal. Infighting is pretty minimal. A very lean organization means everyone must step up so long days and weekends can result during crunch time.
Professional workplace with stellar employees and great benefits
Land Records Tech (Former Employee) – Athens, GA – January 15, 2014
The hours were great.I got a lunch break and sometimes free lunches were catered. Everyone in the company is helpful and friendly. The management and executive culture was highly professional and respectful. It was difficult at times because the job required extensive attention to detail, but proved to be rewarding because of all of the new software I learned, including mapping software.
oiler (Former Employee) – Fortine, MT – September 30, 2013
it was always a different day learned to run a lot of equipment, management did not seem to care to much, co-workers were alright. maintenance was the hardest. most enjoyable part was completion of a project.
Executive Assistant (Former Employee) – Seattle, WA – July 22, 2013
Rewarding and very good environment where I was given the ability to branch out where my experiences and interests would best serve the company. The companies I have been with worked to ensure their mission statements and core ethical values were met and strove to ensure all employees and work products adhered to those values.
I mostly worked 3rd shift, so it was relatively quiet. I basically helped the elderly/disabled residents with whatever they needed. I only worked with a few people, but my co-workers, for the most part, were hard-working and sensitive. The hardest part of the job was probably caring for the residents who were real sick or confused. The most enjoyable part was getting to know the residents and their families.
residents at plum creek made it worth going to work
