This place NEVER hires anyone on the outside. You can only apply for a job here if you already work there! THAT IS INSANE!!!

I worked at PMC for approx. 3yrs. During my employment, I was a accts receivables specialists - CSR. I enjoyed my employment there and would love to work for pmc again. Unfortunately, during my stay there, there was a unqualified supervisor. She use her power to end people employment as soon as she got a chance. I had surgery on my ankle and was on – more...  FMLA. upon my release to return to work, the supervisor already had me laid off with no re-employment in the future. It is my unserstanding that she was fired. I feel i should at least be given the opportunity for interviews when positions arises. I know i am very much qualified but since she check do not re-hire, my resume isnt given a second look., I received great evals, promotions, employee of the month etc. – less

I worked at PMC for almost 7 years and I would have retired from PMC. However, due to unexpected situations in my life I was not able to continue working at that pace, so I choose to retire early. However, a partime position would be quite refreshing at this time.
I love being in a field where I can be a care taker, but, without any strenous work for – more...  long hours. – less

I am a Volunteer at Pocono Medical Center I dispatch: assist with admission or discharge by transporting the patient with there personal belongings/ Delivered Dietary and General Sores supplies/ Pharmacy Drugs and Medical records charts and Radiology Films CD for patients to care unit and Transporting used equipment to central sterile processing or – more...  clean equipment to care unit. I also work at the same day surgery waiting room Reception taking patients post op contact person to best facilitate with the surgeon who will communicate post op information to patient family that will be waiting in the waiting room or by phone and Created new packets for charts and answered calls directed in coming phone calls or phone messages. I also work in Radiology : Data entry on patients Mammography Films check make sure medical number is correct social number is correct and up date for filing and assist out patients to Cardiac Stress test and served as support to patients waiting for Cat Scan ,MRI Ultrasounds X-rays to be done I also work in the Discharge Lobby as a Reception when visitor come in the hospital to see a patients putting in Patients Data for information of room . Answer phone calls and forwarded the calls to the right Dept and served as supports to patients for direction in the hospital to were they are going and Delivery's services coming in. – less
