The Financial Aid Specialist is responsible for assisting in the management of all Federal, State and Institutional financial aid administration, including maintaining accuracy of all student records. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, following all Federal, State and Institutional guidelines to accurately determine and award financial aid to incoming and returning students; tracking all documentation coming in to the financial aid office and accurately maintain student files, both paper and electronic; verifying the accuracy of information listed by the parent or student on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Minimum requirements: Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, excellent customer service and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines, and detail-orientation. Previous Financial Aid experience is preferred, but not required.
