very poor morale at the Rockdale Illinois Location
Service Manager (Former Employee) –  Rockdale, ILApril 23, 2017
Not a great place to work. Unsafe working conditions. Not OSHA friendly. Upper management lies to customers frequently and changes employee records and makes it hard to fire insubordinate employees.
Pros
a lot of paid holidays
Cons
poor upper management

Service Writer/Office Administrator (Former Employee) –  Billings, MTApril 21, 2017
Struggling to increase the bottom line due to not enough laborers to offset the cost of overhead. Benefit package was ideal due to a large corporate umbrella. The Billings location is not meeting a profitable bottom line.

Branch Manager (Former Employee) –  Spokane, WADecember 7, 2016
KPI's (key performance indicators) are more important than actual performance. Day to day, everyone is concerned about whether or not they will have a job.
Pros
good pay and benifits
Cons
lack of job security, no strategic direction

Great company to work for
Payroll Administrator / Corporate Accounts Payable (Former Employee) –  Minnetonka, MNSeptember 13, 2016
Great company to work for. treat employees very well. Management was good, easy to work for. Pretty much left alone to do your job as long as there were no problems.
Cons
bought out by investment firm, lots of changes

just wing it
Welder/Technician (Former Employee) –  Sacramento, CASeptember 4, 2016
There really isn't any training on the correct way to do things. You have to adopt a "wing it" attitude. You often work on other people's less than favorable work/mistakes from other shops which can be a real headache.

Was a good place to work, but a dying business related heavily to petroleum.
Welder/Fabricator (Former Employee) –  Salt Lake City, UTMarch 25, 2016
During the last year, a typical day was cleaning up or making improvements in the work facility with only occasional projects to work on. Management should have diversified their services sooner. Attitudes were lowering because of the slow down. The best part of the job was earlier when we were very busy and had plenty of overtime available. The worst part of the job was the constant flow of tailpipe pollution coming through our overhead doors as they faced the fence line of the I-15 freeway, and the shop is surrounded by the oil refineries.
Pros
In shop BBQ on Friday paydays
Cons
The pollution

analyze and give repair solutions to damaged/wrecked DOT haul trailers. Generate work order requests per customer. update repair manuals. execute daily operations. management is a joke and needs leadership training in my opinion. co-workers are all good bunch of guys. the hardest part of this job was management incompetence.

Express Shop Branch Manager (Former Employee) –  Lansing, ILFebruary 10, 2014
The average day consists of a review of completed work from the day before. It is important to set a priority structure to best control the workload & provide a quick turn-around of equipment. I've have learned that communication needs to be continuously improved upon to keep up with the ever-changing customer requirements.
