Visit customers on a daily basis to sell them product and services. Help customers with quotes, and their product needs. Find leads for the service center. The branch personnel are very helpful with assisting the customers that call in or stop into the branch. I enjoy helping out customers solve their needs. The toughest part about this job is being away from my family all week. I have learned a lot about trailers and all the parts that are used on trailers.

Service Writer/Office Administrator (Former Employee) – Billings, MT – April 21, 2017
Struggling to increase the bottom line due to not enough laborers to offset the cost of overhead. Benefit package was ideal due to a large corporate umbrella. The Billings location is not meeting a profitable bottom line.
Welder/Technician (Former Employee) – Sacramento, CA – September 4, 2016
There really isn't any training on the correct way to do things. You have to adopt a "wing it" attitude. You often work on other people's less than favorable work/mistakes from other shops which can be a real headache.
Was a good place to work, but a dying business related heavily to petroleum.
Welder/Fabricator (Former Employee) – Salt Lake City, UT – March 25, 2016
During the last year, a typical day was cleaning up or making improvements in the work facility with only occasional projects to work on. Management should have diversified their services sooner. Attitudes were lowering because of the slow down. The best part of the job was earlier when we were very busy and had plenty of overtime available. The worst part of the job was the constant flow of tailpipe pollution coming through our overhead doors as they faced the fence line of the I-15 freeway, and the shop is surrounded by the oil refineries.
analyze and give repair solutions to damaged/wrecked DOT haul trailers. Generate work order requests per customer. update repair manuals. execute daily operations. management is a joke and needs leadership training in my opinion. co-workers are all good bunch of guys. the hardest part of this job was management incompetence.
Service Clerk (Current Employee) – Vidor, TX – March 28, 2014
With Polar sky is the limit. Polar continues to offer opportunities to excel in your current position or move up. The management is a lot like family. They look out for everyone and stick up for each other in times of need.

Express Shop Branch Manager (Former Employee) – Lansing, IL – February 10, 2014
The average day consists of a review of completed work from the day before. It is important to set a priority structure to best control the workload & provide a quick turn-around of equipment. I've have learned that communication needs to be continuously improved upon to keep up with the ever-changing customer requirements.
