Polen Capital Management (PCM) was founded by David Polen in 1979 in New York City. We are a disciplined, bottom-up, concentrated U.S. equity investment manager. Our sole focus is high quality large cap growth investments. We have been managing separately managed accounts for various client types including high net worth individuals and family offices, endowments and foundations, corporations, and public funds since 1989. The Role: Operations Analyst
In this position, you will play a key role in the Operations Team. You will oversee the inception of new accounts and the processing of client requests including facilitating communication between the back office and clients, scanning of documentation and physical paperwork filing. You will run daily and bi-monthly control reports to identify cash and security positions out of line in client accounts and communicate this info to trading and management. You will reconcile trade settlement issues by interacting directly with brokerage and custodial contacts. You will track the daily flows of client funds in Excel and report to management as directed, as well as assist with other operational tasks and projects as needed. This is a unique opportunity to blend your skills in processing and analyzing data, enhancing current processes and procedures and developing your understanding of the asset management industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word)
  • Strong time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the asset management industry
  • Advent AXYS and MOXY (Preferred)
  • Omgeo OASYS/Alert (Preferred)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in an operations capacity


  • Oversee and facilitate the opening of new accounts
  • Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams on data related


  • Update and maintain data within various systems
  • Coordinate with key data providers/vendors and submit data requests
  • Assist trading team in identifying accounts to trade
  • Keep track of daily cash flows and report such to senior management
  • Scanning and filing of paperwork
  • Research and reconcile trade settlement issues
  • Assist with projects on an ad hoc basis
