a day for me is work afternoons on the grill or no the line making and dress about 20 bugers in a 30 mins or so..i learned that people get really fistey if they dont get what they really want....mangement changed every 3 months...my co workers were all different experience for me....the job was easy from the day i started...the good enjoyable part was – more... enjoying the customers – less

WORK HARD BUT DONT GET PAID WELL. MANY BENEFITS AND WELL RESPECTED ENVIRONMENT

Pollo tropical is a successful company which is expanding and is a busy place to work which is what I like.

It's a typical fast food job, except it's always busy. Meaning you'll most likely get a lot hours. You work with a lot of Spanish, your Spanish skills will improve.

Co-workers were very helpfull, nice, we all worked as a team.

The crew is very amicable and easy to get along with. The managers are willing to work with you with your schedule to make sure you're able to work to the best of your abilities. Sometimes the managers are a bit difficult to understand, but in the end everything works out ok.

nice to work there... some outrageous customers but for the most its a challenge to see how fast and efficient we can satisfy my customers!

The setting was different and unique, the food amazing, but working dealt with a lot of favortism since everyone thst worked there were puerto rician

not all managers treat workers good. Many times I was asked to stay after my hours were done to finish things not done or finished by other workers. I was not compensated by the extra time.

One of the managers was very rude and mean.

I love the fact everyday there something new, something unexpected. I've learned to think on my feet, to act fact and become a quick problem solver. No job is easy but never impossible.I love the interaction I come across with not just my employees but also my different customers.

Pollo Tropical is a fun place to work if you work with the right people and you get respect some people just don't know how to talk to people especially management.

Its very fast paced and fun yet the management is a headache to deal with! they're rude to customers and if you try to correct them on how to act you become a victum with constant write ups and just flat out rudeness. the food is ok and the prices could be better but the managers at certin locations should be replace as soon as possible!!!

Normal day at work here is to prepare everything in my area (the grill) Working here I've learned to marinate and season chickens, cook them on the grill the proper methods.. Management here is by far amazing, no doubt that I was working under a well established restaurant... The hardest part of this job is getting a rush of customers requesting a certain – more... body part of the chicken which causes a shortage and requires more chicken to be grilled at one time yet I'm still able to manage.. Most enjoyable part of my work is greeting familiar customers that love the way I cook there meat. – less

Typical for servers but at times faster than typical restaurants. I learned how to be time efficient and how to balance multiple customer needs and other parts of my jobs. Co-workers help if they are done with their job. The most enjoyable part would be hearing from customers that I provided great service to them.

A typical day at work would include me coming in counting the cash drawer to make sure it was accurate then proceeding with my orders, It was a faced past restaurant then taught me how to work well under pressure the most enjoyable part of my job was interacting with the people.

The environment was homey and loving. Management sometimes weren't too great. Fast food is always a stressful environment but at the end of the day, everyone was all smiles.

enjoyed the job atmosphere and learned a lot of new things. the people were interesting and pace was fast. felt pleasantly exhausted at the end of my sift.
