i started as a dish washer, ended up the head cook. learned proper cooking with salmon. my manager was wonderful Leslee Burton. co-workers could be annoying, but its my job to work not be involved.
i left thinking i was getting a better paying and beneficial career but i was wrong.

Great experience with customer service. Fast pace, with something new and difference everyday. Managers very flexible. Great place to work in.

My first job ever taught me how to cook and deal with customers. loved management and coworkers!

Staff and managers were very nice, I was also trained in foor prep as well as running the cash registar.

overall this was a good place I got along with the co-workers and the bosses and we also had lots of fun outside of worker

There was not one day that went by that i did not crack at least a smile. Everyone got along great and management ensured everyone was having fun in the workplace but also took their jobs very seriously. I was never bored because I always had something to do, which I love. I learned a lot about up-selling and suggestive selling. Cook food, perpare different kinds of fruit, clean the oven.

greet, serve, clean, and fill. Try to make sure all customers are happy in any way you can.

Coming in to work every day was me and another co-worker for the first few hours. It was slower pace to start getting started on my daily routine. I liked working there because I knew what was required of me everyday. I enjoyed working there. I schedule was flexible to take care of my kids.

I never got my raise review as I was entitled and I was also not working enough hours to live.

At Ponderosa the managers and staff were very warm and welcoming. I enjoyed working there at a fast pace.

there were a lot of regulars that would come in and they would loved to be called by name and knowing the people that are in your area can go along way in a small town

From the moment you walk into the dish area its constant dishes and stacks of plates. its a constant 5-7 hours of running and trying to stay caught up. the managers would yell at us telling us that we need plate on the buffet or soup bowls. atleast once a week someone was calling off minutes before their shift and i'd have to stay and cover because – more... they are understaffed. the way the management treated the lower workers was horrible. – less

The day was very bust because there was a buffet to go along with the fact that it was a steakhouse. There was times when even though I was the manager I still went back to the grill and cooked steaks. I actually enjoyed working in a fast paced environment.
