Low pay, no benefits, high turnover
Project Coordinator (Former Employee), Houston, TXApril 19, 2012
Pros: casual, young environment
Cons: no healthcare, low wages, unpaid overtime, very few holidays off, little employee eduation/training, and more
There is little to enjoy about this place. My fellow employees were a joy to work with as the culture was very young. We also got to dress casually. Other than this, the owner and company found any and every way possible to take advantage of their employees and clients. They are an unethical, structure-less company that invests little to nothing in – more... their employees. Pop Labs promotes themselves as a "stepping stone" for the young, fresh college talent they take advantage of. In my 9 months there, 15 out of 17 positions were turned over. – less

Work place with great individuals but questionable operations
Assistant Controller (Former Employee), Houston, TXDecember 22, 2011
Pros: happy hours on fridays
Cons: no health insurance, below average pay
The individuals, not the managers are the true heart and soul of the company. They run the show and bring in the money. Management is nice but the aren't entirely forthcoming with their practices.
