This role provides high level administrative support for the Vice President, Chief Administrative and Financial Officer and supplemental support to unit directors and managers. Administrative duties are broad and varied, and are routinely of a complex and highly confidential nature. The incumbent develops an understanding of the VP’s responsibilities and activities in order to relieve the VP of as many routine administrative/communication tasks as possible. Using extensive knowledge of standard office software, this role prepares correspondence, reports and presentations for a variety of audiences, including the Board of Trustees; collaborates closely with the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO and other administrative assistants to organize and prepare meeting materials for significant events such as the Board of Trustees’ meetings; and is often called upon to collect, compile, record or otherwise gather data and information that will assist the VP and unit directors/managers in making informed and timely business decisions. This job requires considerable judgment and is typically performed under minimal supervision and general direction.
Requirements: High school diploma with some college and/or technical school preferred. Minimum 5 years secretarial experience in an executive admin role, preferably in Finance.
