Marketing and Sales (Current Employee) – Chicago, IL – November 22, 2017
I absolutely love working at Power. Being a female, I never thought I would work for a exterior home remodeling company. I'm very thankful that my friend referred me and I got in. Power has about 40k resumes coming in from all over the country. They are quite selective on who they choose in my opinion. They pick maybe 1,200 total a year from all over. Those that are chosen are the 2.5% LOL but I will tell you why we are pretty special. In order to work at power, you need a different kind of mind set. Only the mentally and physically strong will survive. Dealing with rejection every day from home owners can take it's toll. Walking miles in rain or snow will take it's toll. Being a female in a van with 5 dudes and being one of 5 women in marketing department with 60 men can take it's toll too. If you're not hungry to grow and be the best version of yourself will take it's toll. Competitive but if you keep comparing yourself to others, it will take it's toll. The only person you should compare yourself to is the person you were yesterday. The job challenges you in all the right ways to grow as a person. The only person at power that's stopping you from achieving greatness will and is yourself. We were rated #1 workplace for millennials, top 100 places to work on fortune (we are up there with google and Amazon!) , amazing benefits, great perks, bonuses, paid xmas vacay, and opportunity to grow. If you set your mind to it, you can make 20k in two weeks and even over 100k a year. Power is not your average. Not for the mediocre 9-5. You can become a somebody at Power! Help, training,more... and support system is amazing as well. Wtf are you waiting for?less
Standard "hustle, perform" marketing gig in lead generation. Hired for sales, left. Terrible system. You'll be handing out coupons and going door to door. Not engaging nor wholesome, and quite dry. You are a number, and you'll be treated as such.
