Purchasing Agent (Former Employee) – Northampton, PA – December 29, 2015
Never a dull moment in purchasing, constantly multi-tasking throughout the day. Management always willing to teach and help as new products are being introduced. Most enjoyable part of the job was establishing a friendly relationship with many suppliers they became like family. The hardest part of the job is when someone does not go out of their way to help or beyond their call of duty. I don't like to hear "it's not my job".

Receive assignment(s) for the day. Work to achieve personal quota goals. Managers are respectful of workers, helpful in day to day tasks. Cord Partners / Precision Medical was a start up company. The focus was to sell the preservation of stem cells from umbilical cords from newborns. While it was fun to learn about this business, stem cells and the use of them were very controversial. Selling this therapy required addressing the clinical differences of obtaining stem cells and sometimes dealing with the ethics and morals associated with the treatments.
