PSS provides software application engineering, system administration, and maintenance services. The objective is to clearly identify an organization's information management needs and then craft a software program designed to meet those requirements in a thorough, effective manner.

PSS developers meet with end-users to define and document requirements. Based on this input, we develop custom screens and reports, define the interface specifications, configure interfaces with numerous external systems, and thoroughly test all code prior to implementation.
Commercial-off-the-shelf software releases are considered for the best fit, along with the suitability of custom enhancements and interfaces with external systems. We utilize our Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology to gather requirements, design, develop, field, and operate a web-enabled database management system. We then provide day-to-day system administration support of all client servers and components. Onsite training is incorporated into the process to assure all users realize the Information Management system's maximum potential. Periodic reviews and upgrades assure the system continues to function at peak performance as new software is added or major modifications are made.
Our Software Development expertise has helped several organizations achieve a more effective and efficient flow of information. For example, PSS was handpicked to create a web-enabled database management system to improve the tracking, in-transit visibility, and management of DoD owned and leased containers in the CENTCOM Area of Operations. The SDDC Command General stated that our work has resulted in "real success stories and has already more than paid for itself."
