Severance is inevitable

The last 20 years for this company have been bad years and severance is just part of the plan if you go to work here. One day your role is needed and the next they've changed their minds and you're out. They do pay well, because they have to keep anyone. Do yourself a favor and work somewhere else. If not, enjoy the ride because it will be a bumpy one.

Get to do lots of jobs, because not enough staff, I think they are in the Loop now

Daily I would research shipments and locate orders for customers. I would expedite these shipments to try and obtain them sooner. I also worked on the Billing and Invoice adjustments that were needed.

Typical day at work consists of strategic outbound calls and customer service. Building relationships and rapport to ensure business continues. 30-40 outbound calls and sales goals that need to be net daily.

Management was very supportive.

Hardest part of the job is not hitting goal and making customers unsatisfied if something cant be done, but we always try!

Senior leadership completely disconnected from reality

An incredible amount of untapped passion and drive in the mid-to-lower levels of the company, but sadly the top levels lack the leadership and insight to allow these people to grow.

Company is on a declining trajectory due to extremely poor management decisions and a lack of development resources.

This was an exceptional company to work for

The people and the work was interesting, enjoyable and overall a wonderful place to work. I was lucky enough to work there for 2 years. I had known this was the company for me and knew I wanted to stay with the company.

They cared about their employees and showed it on a regular basis. The people were pleasant and always helpful all the way to the top. No one was unapproachable.

The company was purchased by a Michigan company and closed.

Fast paced company going through branding metamorphasis

I feel that this company is fair in compensation and benefits, but definitely takes advantage of employees personal time. Also company has a hard time understanding the needs of an international team (ie. meetings held at odd hours 10pm, 6am ect..)
