The Content Writer is responsible for writing key-word rich copy and concepts for the execution of marketing properties, and ultimately a specialist at creating a steady flow of branded content such as web articles, blogs, video scripts, social media posts, custom content needs for media campaigns, and the like. This position creates, coordinates and repurposes brand content across a variety of channels including brand and media partner websites, video platforms, publication and social media platforms.
Manage and execute a multi-channel content marketing plan, delivery strategies and editorial content calendar
Develop ideas and author original content for the company’s website, blog and media partners; Manage a blog calendar
Act as the voice of the company in social media, writing and managing all posts across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Google+
Responsible for community management, outreach and engagement across social media platforms Monitor content effectiveness of all content marketing activities and provide monthly reporting to senior management
Some projects will require you to coordinate with IT and marketing team members to execute a seamless content plan, while others will require hands-on content development
Monitor competitive activity and general social media landscape to be aware of market changes and developments
The Content Writer will direct report to the PR & Communications Manager
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or related.
Experience working in an editorial driven environment, preferably in publishing, media or broadcasting.
Strong project management skills – the ability to own and drive project schedule from start to finish.
Exceptional writing and editing skills. Creativity and experience bringing new programs and ideas to fruition.
Familiar with digital marketing strategies and content strategies, such as SEO and Social Media.
Strong creativity and passion for creating responsive, original and interesting content.
The position will be stationed in the Naples home office.
