Pros: location, co-workers, sometimes free lunches, great office environment, younger feel
Cons: my job is not challenging, and became more of a job and not career, i do not feel like i am part of a team, i want to be trained in order to excel my skills.
A typical work day would consist of the following:
Reading resumes and distributing among recruiters, data entry, greeting candidates, working on marketing collateral, making sure kitchen is stocked, making sure entire office is in prime working order and clean, answering multiple line phones, sending/receiving packages, ordering various supplies, managing
– more... client/candidate flow, working on planning upcoming events.
I have learned how to think on my feet, problem solve, and improve my customer service and multi-tasking skills.
I am part of the Management team here, and I enjoy keep things running smoothly, as it has challenged me to step out of my shell and take initiative.
My co-workers are great people, and very supportive.
The hardest part of my job currently is feeling like I am not challenged enough, and I am not learning anything anymore. I want to feel like I am part of a team, and this position consists a lot of doing your own thing.
The most enjoyable part of my job is my co-workers and the location of my office. – less
