Preqin have recently opened an office in Redwood City. This is therefore an excellent opportunity to join our small team and be influential in the growth of our West Coast business. In support of our experienced sales team, the Lead Development Analyst will identify and contact potential new clients, helping to arrange walkthroughs and meetings for senior members of the sales team. The lead development role is as a training role that will develop into a fully fledged sales position within the Preqin client services team. It is likely that the successful candidate will hold the position of lead development analyst for around nine months before graduating. During this time, full training on all aspects of alternatives will be provided, including many opportunities to interact and meet with new clients.
The potential rewards available within the Preqin client services team are extremely competitive, both in terms of financial reward and career progression. Salespeople regularly earn in excess of $100,000 gross per annum (base salary plus commission), with top salespeople earning significantly more. The role also provides the opportunity to form relationships with senior executives at leading financial institutions, earn financial qualifications such as the CFA and to develop in-depth knowledge of the Alternative Assets industry.
The package for the Lead Development Analyst includes; base salary of $40,000, immediate medical and dental insurance on an employee basis, plus a commission share of all sales made from leads developed. On target this should equate to an additional $750 - $1250+ per month.

This role would suit a graduate with some sales exposure looking to start a new and exciting career. However, sales experience is not essential, and high achieving graduates who can demonstrate an aptitude for selling will be considered.
