It is an interesting company. I've learned patience and to work with special needs children with little training or help other than my co-teacher. I am able to create plans flexible enough to work with 3.5 yo to almost 5 yo. Yes there's a large age range in my class. Management has recently changed, though ownership remains the same. We say that we're family (the staff) at this place & it's true, though many people feel it is time to move on, despite being here for years. The hardest part of the job is lack of discipline. We cannot say no or react negatively to inappropriate or dangerous behavior. I understand trying to build children up, but do not understand this practice. The most enjoyable part of the job is the coworkers, families & children I have met. They have all taught me something different.
