Primex provides custom plastic sheet extrusion and myriad of value added services for many applications including food, cosmetic and medical packaging; bottles and closures; toys, horticultural and industrial products; dunnage and automotive components. Primex operates five manufacturing facilities throughout the country.

We are currently seeking a Territory Business Manager for the established territory encompassing MN, IA, SD, ND and Winnipeg, Manitoba. The successful candidate must live within the established territory. This position, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, will be responsible for identifying new target accounts and closing new opportunities, while continuing to develop and maintain a solid existing account base.

An experienced sales professional familiar to the plastics industry is preferred. The position requires excellent communication skills in all levels of an organization. Significant driving and overnight travel will be required.

  • 5+ years outside industrial sales experience, preferably in the plastics industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Successful record of obtaining new business
  • Computer skills proficiency including Microsoft Office
  • Self-starter who shows enthusiasm for selling
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
