first temp job
Temporary position at Boston Scientific (Former Employee), Boston, MAJune 16, 2014
Pros: being able to work overtime as much as i wanted.
Cons: very short breaks.
I would come in to work, swipe my card to get pass the guard station then I would go to my locker and put all of my belongings away. I would then proceed to the clean room where i would gown up and go to the station I was listed at that day. I would then go over to the machine and clean it off before i start it up. I would help make sure there were no defects to the catheter while we were still trying to meet our quota. I learned the entire line process one catheter must go through to make sure there are no defects. I didn't really talk to my co-workers because we had to be quiet and focus on what we were doing. The hardest part about the job was trying to go fast enough so the line is consistently moving but almost making sure there were no defects. Every 8 seconds we had to clear one product. So everything was moving very fast. The most enjoyable part was that you just help make something that probably helped save someones life.

Cashier/Customer Service (Current Employee), Coon Rapids, MNApril 21, 2014
Pros: seeing new people every day.
Cons: no breaks and sometimes it is slow
My typical day starts when I come in and opening boxes and taking bread or freezer items putting them in the right spots and taking question from customers about the different kind of bread we have.
Some days are buzy than others depending on what we have. I deposit checks and cash into the safe at the end of each day.

Ordinary assembly room
Medical Assembler (Current Employee), Arden Hills, MNMarch 4, 2014
Work is mostly done in a clean room where workers wear gown, bonnet and booties. The best part is that you can work and go home to your other duties. You never take work home. The supervisors and line leads are approachable and the pay is tolerable.
