50-bed acute-care hospital, fully accredited by The Joint Commission. With a Level III Trauma Center, a 24-hour Emergency Room and many other services, the hospital chiefly serves a two-county area of 35,000. The hospital provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services including MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT, Radiography, ACR-certified Mammography and Ultrasound. Rehab services include Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies. Other services include Behavioral Health, Cardiopulmonary, Surgery, Lab, Obstetrics, Social Services, Dietary and Home Health.

Urology - This is a permanent Hospital employed OR private practice position. This is a full time position. This is a wide open market with no competition as no other Urologists are in town or nearby. This is for General Urology including laparoscopic, adult, pediatric, and adolescent work available. This is a solo hospital based employed salary position (or could be private practice). Call coverage to include practice patients and to follow any inpatient admissions. Will average 5-7 lithos and 15-20 surgeries a month.

Full malpractice paid, comprehensive benefits program including major family medical, dental, life, and disability. There is a matching 401K program (up to the first 3%) as well with paid time off. Position would involve assuming an existing practice. They will have a new office in a new Medical Office Building attached to the hospital. There is no DaVinci Robotic equipment here.

Ideal candidate is an experienced practicing candidate who would enjoy working alone and who enjoys small town rural living (approx 11,000 people, 80 miles NE of Denver). One unique aspect about Fort Morgan is that all utilities are municipally owned and operated, including electric, natural gas, water, wastewater, and sanitation. This not only assures residents of prompt local service and low utility rates, but offers many more employment opportunities than most cities of similar size. The City also manages its numerous parks and open spaces, a library/museum complex, a community swimming pool, the municipal golf course, and the municipal airport. Great area for fishing, hunting, and outdoor sportsman activities.

Excellent support with referrals from the ER and Primary Care Staff and other medical staff members.
