That cheddar-and-beer diet take a toll on your health? Might be time to turn your health over to the pros. ProHealth Care provides health care services to southeastern Wisconsin through a network of three hospitals (Waukesha Memorial, Oconomowoc Memorial, and the Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin), about two dozen clinics, assisted living facilities (Regency Senior Communities), a rehabilitation partnership, home health care services, and a hospice facility. The community-based organization's specialized services include advanced cancer care, cardiology, orthopedic, and obstetrical and neonatal intensive care. ProHealth Care was established as a not-for-profit corporation in 1998.
ProHealth Care's total operations include Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin (RHOW), ProHealth Care Medical Associates, ProHealth Home Care and Hospice, West Wood Health & Fitness Center and senior living facilities.
The RHOW is a 40-bed hospital that is the result of a partnership between ProHealth Care and Centerre Healthcare to meet the increased rehabilitation needs of the region.
ProHealth Care in 2012 merged the foundations serving its two hospitals in Waukesha County in an effort to optimize the efficiency of its operations. With the merger, the Waukesha Memorial Hospital Foundation and Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Foundation became the ProHealth Care Foundation. The integration combined the foundation boards, donors, and volunteers into one organization. – less
