This is a horrible company to go to work for now. Before "acquiring" PhysIOM, this was an amazing company to work for....all management personnel were easily accessible and any concerns could be addressed by them. With the acquisition of the PhysIOM company, all of their bad business practices came with them and poisoned ProNerve. Layers upon layers of management were put in place, no one would give you a straight answer and customer (surgeon and hospital) needs were being overlooked in order to make a profit. Surgeons/hospitals are fickle customers and do not like changes...when new/unknown faces are constantly being sent in to provide coverage while local/regular technicians are forced to travel, you make customers unhappy. IOM techs at ProNerve were what sustained contracts - they were the face of the company, they were who customers called with questions or concerns....for all intents and purposes, the local technicians were the ones the surgeon/customers used ProNerve. When you take that away, that makes your customer base extremely dissatisfied, which is why when PhysIOM was acquired and they began to flex their muscle, ProNerve lost a great deal of business nationwide. All of their "upper management" are yes men/women with no real managerial common sense and are basically blindly following the orders barked by the board members at Waud Capital. The company has been making desperate and impulsive decisions in their greed to grow. Technicians are treated like disposable trading cards and their compensation package is no longer competitive. Also, beware their non-compete clause(s) in their contracts - if leaving the company (either voluntarily or involuntarily) you may be forced to leave the state you are working in and relocate to another part of the country.
