California-based Propel Fuels, which builds, owns and operates a network of alternative fuel stations, is moving its corporate headquarters from Redwood City to Sacramento, the company announced on Thursday.
"The low carbon economy is being defined in Sacramento," said Propel founder and CEO Rob Elam. "There's nowhere we'd rather be," he added.
As Elam explained to OPIS, "Propel is committed to strong partnerships between the public and private sectors, developing and supporting progressive public policy that brings equitable, market-based solutions to realize the state's policy goals (including CARB, the California Energy Commission and policymakers). Locating the company's headquarters in Sacramento helps align Propel with those people and policies forming the future of California's low carbon economy," he added.
Propel Fuels now has 43 flexible fuel E85 stations and 36% advanced diesel locations in California and Washington state. – less–ZoomInfo
