Residential Scheduler (Former Employee) – Orem, UT – May 7, 2016
It started out very promising, as the department I was working for was seen as more of a Swiss army knife for the company but, devolved over time to just a customer service department. It became less and less fun to work at especially from where the it used to be. Overall besides a minor difference in disagreement with management, it was a fun good place to work at.
Two faced company that gets you in the door makes promises they don't keep, they just need a body to fill a chair.
Monitoring Represtitive (Former Employee) – Call Center Wichita Kansas – May 27, 2015
The only good thing about this place would be the great people you meet. The company is not family friendly, they are two faced judgmental place that gets you inside and make you think they are there to help in job advancement when really they want a body to fill the seat.
Overall a positive work enviroment with limited opportunity.

Protection 1 offers it's sales force the opportunity to be successful mostly by utilizing the Protection 1 name and reputation. 90% of sales ops generated by individual sales personnel through door to door canvasing and networking opportunities like BAH and BNI's. Strongest part of the staff are the technicians. Many of whom have been with the company at least 5 years. The sales process is mostly a 1 sit close. If you leave the residence without closing the deal the chances are you will not get the job. The hardest part of the job are the hours necessary to be successful as I routinely work 60-70 hours per week. The best part of the job is meeting new people and establishing relationships that should bring more business.
