Pros: bonuses, 3 weeks vacation, and pay.

My typical day at work was meetings in the morning to plan out the day as to what is the scheduled on line. What the errors were the day before.
What I learned there was there are many different types of paper work for different areas that are required for a process from start to finish.
Management, would be every persons responsibility after meetings and taking care of there areas. getting with others as the day went on to confirm information and relay at end of shift.
Coworkers in all of the individualized areas were precise and communicative with each other. Areas were clean and organized.
The hardest part of the job would be not having errors on the line because of minor mistakes that were beyond our shifts.
The most enjoyable part of the job would be safe day at work and getting daily goals accomplished.

Promotions is depends largely on how well you are with management. There is a lot of nepotism and inappropriate relationships between employees. There is no real structure or evaluation methods. The team leads aren't educated.

This is what learn:
• Assemble component parts into completed units within tolerances using design blueprint.
• Setup up equipment for the product assembly.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs of the equipment.
• Inspect component parts and completed units by using visual inspection, gages, tape measures, check fixtures, calipers, or other various inspection equipment.
The management was not good at all.
the hardest part of the job was look busy even if there was no work to do.

For the most part this was an enjoyable place to work from the mid management level and down. Daily interaction with these people was positive and everyone worked very hard to meet production issues and schedules.

Dealing with Upper Management was a different story all together.

The entire concept of building a totally electric bus is amazing

Pros: free uniform shirts, very good benefits, ground breaking concept, earth friendly
Cons: cannot advance without a degree
The management is wonderful. Everyone is willing to listen to ideas and try and implement those ideas throughout the facility when feasible.
It is a fairly new company, so there are still some bugs to get worked out, but it will be a landmark company within a few more years.
Currently, we are required to work too many hours, and I enjoy time with my family and I don't take that for granted. There are other jobs, but I have only one family.

One of the most mismanaged companies I've ever worked for

Pros: decent benefits
Cons: very poorly managed
1. Co-workers telling you to "Slow down. You're working too fast and making us all look bad,"
2. Management not telling you until the last minute that you have to work overtime on weekends (sometimes both days) so you can never make any plans. If they'd take care of #1, no one would have to work excessive overtime.
3. You'd better buy your own tools if you want to get anything done, because there are never enough tools to go around.
4. Management likes to walk around, flex their muscles, and flirt with women versus actually managing.
5. They do not promote from within.
6. There is no distinction made between a conscientious worker and a total slacker.

Latest management team is more concerned about how things look.

The pay is decent. Although if you are in certain depatrments, you will work excessive overtime without any sort of compensation.

The culture definitely leaves something to be desired.
Turn-over is outrageous.
Certain individuals within management are extremely unprofessional.
There is zero funding for training.

Significantly more likely to get let go, than get promoted.
