Air Quality Specialist (Current Employee), Baton Rouge, LAAugust 10, 2014
Pros: great atmosphere great people.
Cons: little room for advancement.
The company as a whole is a great place to work, with most employees focusing on the same goal of growing and taking care of the client. However, being a young company on the move there are some kinks they are still working out.

Exceptional Team - Hardworking, playful and dedicated
Contracts Coordinator (Former Employee), Seattle, WAJuly 3, 2014
Pros: opportunities to learn new things
Cons: long commute to work
Typical day: Visiting adult family homes and assisted living communities in our catchment areas: Relationship building, problem solving and contract compliance. Cold calling to solicit prospective providers. Database management and committee meetings.

What I learned: State and Federal Regulations and how it pertains to vendor contracts.

Management: – more... Open door policy with communication and ideas.

My co-workers: Exceptional people, hardworking, fun and inventive

Hardest part of the job: Seeing people who are sick and dying

Most enjoyable part of the job: Connections with people and helping them however I can. – less

Social Work Intern (Former Employee), Portland, ORJune 12, 2014
Pros: no comment.
Cons: no comment.
The workplace is based on the following values: respect; compassion; justice; excellence; stewardship.

Tasks are completed in motivation of the mission: "As people of Providence, we reveal God's love for all, especially the poor and vulnerable, through our compassionate service.

Once tasks are completed, strategic planning is sought out on the basis – more... of the vision: "Together, we answer the call of every person we serve, know me, care for me, ease my way. – less

Working with the elderly
Life Enrichment Assist (Former Employee), Zeland, MIJune 2, 2014
I have really enjoyed my position with Providence.
Working with the elderly is a wonderful experience for both myself and my residents.
I have learned so much and being a steward of God's grace, compassion and loving has made it even easier for me as a care giver. The hardest part of my position at Providence has been saying goodbye to my residents – more... as they go home to our Heavenly father. – less

Everything for the residents
Director of Restorative Services (Former Employee), Downers Grove, ILFebruary 16, 2014
Pros: incentives and activities to keep up morale
Cons: too little time and too much work
Making rounds in the morning and checking on all the residents. Assisting with passing of trays and feeding residents as needed. Dealing with Vendors to order supplies. Morning meetings to discuss any issues regarding the facility. It was enjoyable to watch the residents doing general strengthening exercises and participating with the exercises. Time – more... away from the resident I came to love was the hard part of the job. – less
