The Prudential Variable Contract Real Property Account (the Real Property Account) was established as a separate investment account of The Prudential Insurance Company of America (Prudential). The Real Property Account was established to provide a real estate investment option offered in connection with the funding of benefits under certain variable – more... life insurance and variable annuity contracts (the Contracts) issued by Prudential. The assets of the Real Property Account are invested in The Prudential Variable Contract Real Property Partnership (the Partnership). The Partnership, was formed through an agreement among Prudential, Pruco Life Insurance Company and Pruco Life Insurance Company of New Jersey, to provide a means for assets allocated to the real estate investment option under certain variable life insurance and variable annuity contracts issued by the respective companies to be invested in a commingled pool.
