Prussiani USA LLC is the United States representative of Prussiani Engineering and is based in St Louis, MO. Prussiani USA has been retained exclusively to market and service our existing and potential customers in the United States for the last couple of years. As we expand and build our national sales and service network, Prussiani USA is has an opening for a national repair and installation technician.

Position Responsibility:

This position is responsible for all installation of new machines, and servicing of existing units in the United States and Canada, more specifically:

 Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on, motors, pneumatic & hydraulic systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

 Coordinate, and communicate schedule with overseas office regarding the installation of new machines, and set up installation schedule with local customers.

 Set up software and wiring of new PC unit and train and supervise customer on CAD/ CAM software operation and CNC programming.

 Communicate with customers by phone/ email regarding basic machine maintenance and operation

 Program new machine with digital/ cad files to perform cutting and processing functions

 Locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments and tools.

 Removing defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.

 Determining changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

 Maintaining equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years experience in the Stone/ glass/ metal manufacturing or related industry is preferred. Intimate knowledge of natural stone fabrication and / or residential construction methods and practices is a plus. A min 2- year college degree in a science or technical field is preferred, but will consider candidates with proven track records who do not possess a degree. An outgoing personality, a professional attitude and self confidence is a must to succeed in this position. Additionally, a self starter personality, and attention to details are crucial traits of the ideal
candidate. Ability to travel through the U.S. and Canada as needed is required.

Position Location and Reporting:

This position is located in St. Louis, MO. The successful candidate will report to the U.S Director of Operations in our St. Louis Office.

Training:

Training will be provided on the product line through Prussiani USA or at the factory and by field training with an experienced Technician

Compensation:

This is a salaried position and compensation is based on experience and performance. Allowance for travel expenses will be reimbursed.
