Advertising Sales Representative (Current Employee) – New York City, NY – October 30, 2017
Environment in this place is terrible. Management listens into your calls and interrupts you while you are on the phone with clients. I've worked at place with micro managers and this place takes the cake, every manager in this place is a micro manager. This place has a rotating door people quit/get fired every other day. You don't have any chance at hitting commission, I would say only the top 5% of sales people get it (they have been with the company forever). Nobody wants to buy ads in print anymore these days and the print that this place has is terrible, nobody buys these publications. Management here doesn't want to believe that print isnt what is used to be, they will blame everyone and everything. even went through several managers. The good things...Near Penn Station, some cool coworkers.

I enjoyed my job their.. however had some problems with the nephew that worked their and it is a family operated company. the nephew would come in an go when ever he wanted an would not work with me said he would do what he wanted when he wanted an that was that.. I did not feel that I would go anywhere with that position nor attitude.
accomplishments, orders on time, trucks loaded and ready to go
