Typical day at work: Going to work with an positive attitude, cheerful and ready to work my duties and responsibility, consistently exceed performance goals. Being a strong support of company, supervisors and managers mission and visions. Continuously produces more than expected.
What I leaned: How to deal with pressure. Ability to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing situation. When working with Public Works City of Jackson, several different Mayor's over my years working there at Water Maintenance/Public Works, administration kept changing. I had to be ready for any new instructions or changes
Management: Make certain that employees have a clear understanding of their responsibilities and duties. Encourages collaboration with my co-works, and sharing ideas.
Work Place Culture: Working with any individual in a positive atmosphere. Developing a strong professional, family relationship with my staff and higher managers within the department. Continue to grow and improve working together as a team player.
The hardest part of the job: Not achieving my goal.
The most enjoyable part of the job: Working with people. Seeing employees and talking to customer. Getting things taken care of. Knowing a customer is satisfied and pleased. Reached my goals, and completed my task and duties. Leaving work knowing I did the best I can and returning back wanting to continue to grow, develop continuous improvement methods.
