Pros: the people who work for me. their work ethics, their team spirit, and their all out effort when called upon.
Cons: upper management disconnect with the every day, lack of understanding workflow processes, lack of support from upper management
My typical day begins with assuring that the overnight projects are ready to be delivered by the client deadlines utilizing internal team of operators as well as any projects outsourced to our other global locations in an effort to load balance all our resources.
Due to load balancing our resources, I've learned to create and manage new workflow processes – more... based on our outside resources strengths and weaknesses.
Because I have a great team of committed professionals who's main goal aligns with mine in making sure that the client needs are our number one priority, it makes the challenge a team effort with everyone taking an active role to achieve at the highest level each is capable of. It becomes a fun and vibrant atmosphere.
The hardest part of my present position is having to navigate through our companies hierarchy in order to get and keep the resources needed to meet clients needs and maintain a stress free and exciting environment where teamwork prevails.
The most enjoyable part of the job goes without saying, the feeling of accomplishment we all get when completing some of our large out of home campaigns. Receiving emails from the clients and their vendors commending our handling of the projects from beginning to end and the manner in which they receive the project's completed elements. – less
