Pulse 360 is currently seeking an Account Executive who will be responsible for selling Digital Direct Response, Display, and Retargeting Advertising on the Pulse 360 Network and Exchange. Pulse 360 is a top 20 advertising network and has a top tier display advertising exchange. We specialize in Digital Display and Direct Response advertising on over 10,000 websites and 400 digital publishers. The position will be based in Buffalo, NY and reports to the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales. Target accounts will be mid to small sized advertising agencies, small to mid-sized consumer oriented brands, lead generation firms, and affiliate marketers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver/exceed monthly revenue goals
  • Creating a territory plan and sales target list
  • Developing and managing agency and direct account lead lists
  • Identifying sales opportunities and creating RFP’s
  • Manage ongoing relationships with clients including regular communication, analysis of data related to their account, monitoring success of their sales campaigns, and advising them on how to optimize those campaigns
  • Translating campaign objectives and target audience criteria into Pulse 360 Exchange and Network requirements.
  • Proactively prospecting and closing new business from clients in territory
  • Weekly reporting on all sales activities and initiatives within territory
  • Quarterly sales plan updates and reviews w/management
  • Day-to-day collaboration with account management; ad ops; business planning; in all aspects of sales strategy, planning, deal packaging, program execution and renewal

Ideal candidate will possess:

  • BA/BS degree, specialization in Marketing or Communications preferred.
  • 5 - 10+ years media or advertising sales experience. Internet media experience highly preferred. Will also except sales experience in other marketing Service industries.
  • Solid grasp of B2B sales, territory management and large account management processes.
  • Preexisting advertising agency relationships within sales territory
  • Understanding of digital advertising – Search, Display, Social and Mobile.
  • Understanding of communications theory, performance marketing and internet advertising.
  • Proven history of meeting/exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong strategic selling skills with ability to drive, prioritize, and deliver revenue objectives
  • Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills
