Pros: enjoyed the fast pace, daily problem soving and streamlining processes
Cons: timely issue resolution with international suppliers at times
Very motivated to ensure a constant supply chain of materials are available for both our internal and external customers. Constant focus on cost containment, identifying process inefficiencies and wastes, new inventory replenishment methods for reducing our inventory investment.

Vey busy place to work! Co-workers are awesome!
Purchasing/Receiving (Current Employee), Lapeer, MI – March 19, 2013
I totally love working my current job. Never again will I get such great people to work with. Caring, honest, self motivated, self starters that pound the work out with quality and dignity! I love everything about my job and learn something new everyday. The challenge is welcomed! We all work very well together. The hardest part of my job is that no – more... overtime is offered or allowed and I have way to much to fit in a 40 hour work week. Finding the balance of running several departments, sometimes is just a challenge that needs a deep breath.lol! The only downfall we face is from managment. I hate saying that, but some things that are said are way over any "grey" areas. That part is sad, but overall, one just bites the tounge an moves on. The customers make anything you suffer, all worth while! – less

Great Place to work
Safety Officer, Bell County Buildings and Grounds (Former Employee), Belton, TX – February 25, 2013
Pros: i was able to set up the way that i thought the job should be completed with little supervision.
Cons: the ability to advance in the company
On a typical day I would start off reading emails that were sent from the night shift on the prior day. Review the inventory issue forms and adjust inventory to reflect where the inventory was taken. Review inventory levels via reports that I generated within the inventory system then replenish inventory that was at the reorder threshold that was predetermined. – more... Answer phone calls for the request of purchase order numbers and issue the purchase orders as needed. I order items that were not readily available through local sources. After items were received I would review the receipts and compare them to the purchase order and approve them for payment via the JD Edwards Accounting software and send the hard copy to the accounts payable section of the auditor’s office. At the end of the day I would review any email that I had received during the day to ensure that that there was not an issue that needed to be completed prior to my departure for the day.
Once I had proven myself that I was able to manage the budget and inventory for the department, management let me do my job with little supervision. My coworkers developed a respect for me knowing that I was there to help them not hinder them from doing their job. The hardest part of the job was insuring that the items that had to be special order were received in a timely manner.
The most enjoyable part of the job was to insure that Bell County was getting the best value for their dollar, inventory levels were kept at the correct level, and employees had the products that they needed to get their jobs done. – less

Great Place to Work
Executive & Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Irvine, CA – February 19, 2013
EarlyDETECT was a great place to work with some great people. I learned a lot from this job.

The company fell apart with the financial/economic collapse of 2008, which was very sad because I believe this company had great potential.

The company was fun. The company made purchasing easy and available to its employees.
Warehouse Supervisor (Former Employee), Norcross, GA – January 31, 2013
Pros: the company had great benefits. great health care and dental.
Cons: the company lacked in training and promotions.
A typical day at work started with -- Inventory checks .. and covering the balances with -- purchasing of new products. I learned how valuable it is to keep the company supplied and ready for emergencies. I enjoyed managment because they allowed me to use my potention at 100%. I enjoyed my co-workers, especially those, who were dedicated to the job – more... and company growth. The hardest part of the job was -- making sure ... equipment issued ... was properlly accounted for, and listed. The most enjoyable part of the job was participating in the companies activities. – less

Interesting and Productive Work Place
Assistant Manager/Customer Service (Former Employee), Indianola, Iowa – December 9, 2012
Pros: healthcare, fun enviroment
Cons: lack of communication from the higher up bosses, disrespect from supervisors
A typical day at work would be taking care of upset customers, doing Inventory Reports, Sales Reports, Purchasing Reports and order items that we were low on. When my CSR's came into work I would have a short meeting and make sure they were meeting their quota on the inbound calls. The co-workers were great to work with and we all got along very well. – more... The hardest part of the job was not being able to help every customer for replacement items and they would get very mad. For the most part I really liked my job and took pride in what I did. The most enjoyable part was working with great employees and taking care of the customers in a timely manner and doing my best to make them happy. – less

This was a tough environment to work in as my manager was a little tough to deal with. I learned a lot about purchasing and contract management. I was later promoted to a more suitable position within the company that allowed me to work more with my hands and interact with some of our clients.
