IT Support Technician (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILSeptember 30, 2017
No advancement, just a fancy hamster wheel. Great to put down as experience though. Learned a lot while there and met a lot of wonderful people as well. Company is advanced but still has a ways to go to grow in terms of work environment politics.

Product Manager (Former Employee) –  New York, NYSeptember 29, 2017
I wrote about PwC in my previous post. The most interesting part of the job was being able to travel to meet potential partners and to work with vendors.

PwC is a great company to work at if you're ambitious and hard-working. You'll have the opportunity to learn from very intelligent co-workers and interesting clients and situations.

Tax Specialist (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLSeptember 29, 2017
In peek season I worked over 60 overs per week and worked on Saturday. Feels like my dog barely know me. If you have no experience of anything, PwC is a great place for you to start.

An excellent place to work and grow
Senior Manager / Global Service Manager (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXSeptember 28, 2017
I came to PWC after having worked at another big 5 consulting firm for a few years. PWC by comparison was a bit more laid back which was a positive for me after having spent time running from assignment to assignment in my previous position. I would recommend PwC to anyone that would like to work in consulting and that wants to feel more connected to the firm than just another body.

Stepping stone.
Tax Manager (Former Employee) –  Stamford, CTSeptember 27, 2017
Great place to start your career; should not stay longer than 2-3 years as potential for advancement is limited due to market constraints. There is no work life balance, contrary to what some may tell you, 12 hour days are the norm.

very boring poorly run firm...
Manager (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GASeptember 27, 2017
Boring and poorly run firm. Accountants should run organizations. Typical day was unorganized. People hired based on no apparent reasoning. Leadership has unrealistic inflated view of themselves.
Pros
good salary
Cons
work life balance, management, boring office

Senior Associate (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILSeptember 27, 2017
You may have the best performance reviews (Snapshots) from engagement leaders, but it's only your RP's voice that matters when it comes to salary bumps and promotions. Also, the firm may say it does, but it doesn't really support changes in alignment to functions.

Overall, the company is a good place to work, but management leaves a lot to be desired.
Pros
Variety of work, learning opportunities
Cons
Performance evaluation, work culture

Great workplalce culture for a large consulting firm
Sr. Consultant (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PASeptember 26, 2017
PwC is a great place to work if traveling is not an issue. On any given week, traveling could be between 80% to 100% to external clients in different locations depending on the projects. The mentoring environment is great, the team I worked with, as well as, my management team. I learned a lot and the team provided great support that enable us to present well in front of the customers.
Pros
Nurturing and supportive environment
Cons
A lot of travel required

PwC is a great place to work especially for those looking to jumpstart their career right out of school. The firm allows you to learn a significant amount on a broad number of subjects at a quick pace because you are assigned to various clients in several industries.

Good for some but not all
Analyst (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLSeptember 23, 2017
If you are lucky to work for one of the few managers that hand out promotions like candy good for you. Most members of management would push you in front of a bus if it meant they could get a bigger bonus. Every month its a new group to promote some cause that you have to endure, while you sit and work long hours with no recognition because you do not belong to one of gilt laded group cause of the month.
Cons
management, lack of recognition
