Next to serving active duty military, this job field woul have to be my favorite. I loved the work I did for this company. 50% in a office and 50% out in a factory, in there lab or in a plant somewhere testing something. Plenty of room to advance in this field with national certifications. A very important and enjoyable but over looked work.
The down side to this company is that management plays favorits all the time. I was laid off before 3 other people that got hired after me, which I just recently found out that I was laid off because of a issue 10months prior I was having some personal problems that had been corrected. I know this because of a conversation I had that was for possibly getting rehired that issue was brought up. Not fair and not professional. I made it clear at the time and at that talk recently that that issue was corrected long before I was laid originally. I miss working in this career field and so much want to get back in, just can't see myself working for a place that will firer someone months after, even when that person is doing better, for personal problems.
