It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Qualcomm?
Any advice on striking the right note?

I would like to know how much time does Qualcomm usually take to generate an offer letter, I came to know that many positions at QCOM are on hold, is it because its the end of their fiscal year(September)?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with a job posting showing as closed soon after a phone interview. I'm guessing it means they're not interested in me, but thought it was pretty fast to see it change that fast. The job posting still shows open to the public as well. I felt I did decent on the phone interview, but the it was a technical person who did the interview and they didn't feel very prepared. Questions were stumbled through and he only asked a few. Only took about 10-15 minutes for him to finish and give me some time to ask questions.

Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Qualcomm?
Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?
What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Qualcomm?

I want to apply for an internship at qualcomm. How difficult is it to get a position if I am form germany.
I am a mathematics major doing my masters right now. Do I have to apply for a specific advertisement or can I apply in general.

A number of online sources say that the median starting salary is 72K. I'm a bit skeptical. How true is that? Is it possible to start a career out of college at Qualcomm with a 70K salary?

Has anyone interviewed for product development engineer (RF/analog) position?
It will be useful for me if you can share your interview experience.

I'm considering an offer from Qualcomm for a Staff engineer position. How much sign bonus and RSU is sufficient for a Staff engineer with 12 years of experience.
My case is ~10K bonus and 500shares.
Thank you for you input.

Just stumbled upon this great thread( http://www.indeed.com/forum/cmp/Qualcomm/Qualcomm-Interview-Questions/t11623/ ) and posted the same question about experienced professionals.
I thought this discussion might warrant its own thread so here it goes:
Looking for any tips or suggestions for people looking for jobs as experienced professional (i.e. staff engg. level and above)
- what kind of questions would they ask? how technical- bit and byte level technical or "high-level" technical?
- Is there any focus on any non-technical areas? If so which ones?
- Do you submit a 4 page resume listing every project you've worked upon?
- I noticed from other threads that they ask everything in your resume and expect you to know it inside out. How much details do they expect you to know on a 5-7 year old project?
Looking for some valuable input from someone who was hired as staff or sr. staff engg role. Hope a few folks can chime in!
