Working at Qualcomm

It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Qualcomm? Any advice on striking the right note?

Hi, Just stumbled upon this great thread( http://www.indeed.com/forum/cmp/Qualcomm/Qualcomm-Interview-Questions/t11623/ ) and posted the same question about experienced professionals. I thought this discussion might warrant its own thread so here it goes: Looking for any tips or suggestions for people looking for jobs as experienced professional (i.e. staff engg. level and above) - what kind of questions would they ask? how technical- bit and byte level technical or "high-level" technical? - Is there any focus on any non-technical areas? If so which ones? - Do you submit a 4 page resume listing every project you've worked upon? - I noticed from other threads that they ask everything in your resume and expect you to know it inside out. How much details do they expect you to know on a 5-7 year old project? Looking for some valuable input from someone who was hired as staff or sr. staff engg role. Hope a few folks can chime in!

My interview in 2 weeks was cancelled by Qualcomm citing economic reasons. Did it happen to anyone?

I passed two technical phone interviews that lasted about an hour each. Now next week I have a face to face interview. I'm planning on reviewing my data structures, algorithms, possibly logic puzzles and reading through the programming interviews exposed book. Does anyone have any insight on what may be asked? Any help or advice is well appreciated.

I have been trying to figure this out for ages. I really just don't know who to contact in their San Diego office even though I literally in the building next to to their office off Lusk Boulevard. It's kind of a bummer being so close yet so clueless. Does anyone know what steps are involved to become their vendor? I do translation and localization and it's been difficult to find forms or instructions. Any takers? Thanks a lot.

Does online application really work? I have been applying for past 3 months for internship. I have applied for around 25 jobs, for 10 of those i'm a perfect match, for 10 more, i'm a 75% match and for the rest, atleast 50% match. But I've not received any response yet. For each position, they would receive atleast 3000 applications from all over US. do u think the hiring manager really has the time to go thru them? i seriously doubt it. I think employee referral is the only way out. wat do u guys think?

Hi all, I'm gonna have a phone interview in a couple of days for an intern position at the R&D department. I wonder if anyone here had a similar experience. I would very much appreciate that if anyone could give some advice about the interview (like the type of questions or how hard it would be). Thank y'all.
