The Society of Quantitative Analysts (SQA) is a not-for-profit organization concerned with the application of new and innovative techniques in finance, with particular emphasis on the use of quantitative techniques in investment and risk management.
The knowledge of such techniques benefits investment and risk managers, analysts, traders, and owners – more... of funds such as pension sponsors and foundations in performing their functions and responding to the ever-quickening pace of change. The Society provides a useful forum for communications among its members and other similar societies.
The SQA holds monthly meetings in New York City from September to May. Regular meetings consist of one-hour talks by speakers from the academic, practitioner, and regulatory communities. There is also a half-day program in the fall and a "Fuzzy Day" seminar in June on an exploratory topic. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
