Going from a Fortune 500 company to the Pentagon involved a very quick learning curve from free thing business to chain of command is everything. My fellow co-workers helped me through the initial quagmire of requirements and thing were flowing smoothly by the time I had security clearance. This was truly the hardest part of the job. The most enjoyable part was knowing we were helping to make the day to day live of our soldiers easier. My manager, a retired full bird Colonel, was a joy to interact with and made the position enjoyable.
I learned a new life style at the Pentagon, taking in an information stream and providing an output which surprised me.
