Basic duties included typical clerical tasks. I learned to further develop my administrative abilities by researching potential candidates, maintaining and updating records of past clients and candidates in a database, and cooperating with firm associates to bring our clients the best possible candidates available.
Management was very professional and maintained focus on goals at all times.
The hardest part of the job was learning to leave when the workday was over. There is always more work to be done and it can't always be finished at once.
The most enjoyable part of the job was celebrating the placement of a candidate for one of our clients.

The owner was not very friendly. No good mornings, no thank you, etc. Rest of staff were nice. Sometimes very boring if there was nothing to do and you wasn't allowed on the internet (internet history was tracked).
