I have been working at Quigley Fine Wines as a wine consultant for a little over three years. When I applied, I didn’t think I would even get called for an interview! The first six months were challenging because the entire focus was on building my client file. However, both the sales manager and Brendan Quigley, the company owner, are supportive and knowledgable. Being in sales means working hard every single day, setting goals and making meeting them non-negotiable. The people that succeed in this position bring personality, optimism and ambition to the table. Working at Quigley Fine Wines has been incredibly rewarding. I learn more about the very complicated world of wine daily. The monthly wine allowance, which equals a percentage of my sales for that month, has allowed me to build a sizeable collection of high quality wines. It’s also made my mother very happy since I send her wine every month. The very generous commission and bonus structure has given me financial freedom I didn’t think was possible. My income doubled from year one to year two and in 2015 I hit six figures. The health, vision and dental benefits are all covered by the company and are excellent.
