Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) – Manchester, NH – November 2, 2017
Company values and embraces change which is a great attribute to have in today's world. Everyone in the company is approachable and definitely follows the "open door policy". Such an amazing place to work!
Was a decent company to work for until recent management was hired

Definitely not the worst company I have worked for. Pay was decent, hours/schedule were ok and got along with everyone. New manager was hired and it became a popularity/politics game. "Manager" is clueless and doesn't know what he's doing. As others have stated, people have responsibilities for things that are not their job, made up titles just to keep a job and never sure what someone's actual role is. Don't expect any training if hired but expect to be berated if something is done not to their company policy/how they like it done. I didn't mind working there and for the most part enjoyed it until they hired a young, inexperienced, immature and spineless manager. Does not know/care how to speak to employees. Very condescending, demeaning and arrogant. Allows work to be taken from other employees. Should've never been hired for management position. Only regret is not going to HR sooner.
Schedule, compensation, co-workers
Management, Hr, working environment due to management
Manager (Former Employee) – Massachusetts – September 19, 2017
If you don't mind being micro managed and eventually terminated then this is the place for you. You will never win, your told to do one thing and when you do it you get it trouble for it. Customers will always win especially if they write a review. Your weekly manager meetings will always be a flip flop of hearing one thing and then the next week something else to the point of you shaking your head. Then there is the added stress if you take a day off will you have a job the next day. The stress isn't worth the money
Auto Technician (Former Employee) – Braintree, MA – June 20, 2017
As a mechanic you carry a lot of money with you when you goto work, working here you will be forced to deal with immature and inexperienced techs that have little supervision, tools get stolen, boxes get damaged and management does whatever it takes to not have to deal with it. as stated in other interviews everybody is hired to do everything nobody really has a clue whats going on here
Service (Former Employee) – Bangor, ME – December 29, 2016
Not much opportunity for advancement. Management is horrible. A lot of favoritism. You'll advance if you kiss a lot of butt. Management won't care about you. Do very little for us. For example Cancelled our company picnic and never rescheduled it.
Quirk is the best if you're a serious sales professional. There is plenty of opportunities to make excellent money. There number one in volume for a reason. Mr. Quirk has the most efficient system for sales and delivery. Plenty of floor traffic. If your focused and motivated there's no limit. Anyone who says otherwise is not a serious car guy/girl. Managers are all about gross but, its up to you to set the deal up correctly. I've worked at other dealerships and you quickly realize there just not on the same level as Quirk. Honestly, if you go to work there and focus on sales and customer satisfaction, you will do very well. Not for the faint of heart but neither is any other sales job. Given the opportunity I would go back in a second.
The best inventory anywhere.
Hours can be tough, but anyone who wants to be successful in any job has to put the time in.
horrible benefits, competitive salary. almost zero advancement potential.
Technician (Former Employee) – Quincy, MA – September 12, 2016
There will always be cars to sell so there is job stability but that's about the only good part of the job. Too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter. Everyone is hired to do everything even if it has nothing to do with the original job description, management is arrogant and wont take suggestions from anyone even if they're absolutely wrong. Benefits are absolutely not affordable to the average lower ranking employee. Disorganized and unrealistic expectations from employees.
Sales Associate (Former Employee) – Braintree, MA – August 10, 2016
This is the worth company I worked for !!Bad management specially at The VW store in Braintree .General manger is shady and careless about his employees .Sales Managers are not qualified to do the job. Sales staff don't like each other always fighting for CUSTOMERS on the Lot .Very long hours with little pay . The Girls at the office are miserable and rude and slow to get the job Done .🤔 If you like being a slave this the best place for you to work .
