QVC provides the flexibility required for a part-time job. As a variable flex/on call Order Services representative, I am able to schedule my hours around a full time job making it possible to earn supplemental income. The work atmosphere is very cordial, and every opportunity is given to employees to improve performance via quality monitors and coaching.

Cons: they were once 24 hours then they started closing at 2am which cut money making abilities.
QVC is an awesome company to work for that really care about their employees. It was a fun and happy place to work. Enjoyed what i did helping customers.Learned that you can have a family on the job. The hardest part of the job is when i was laid off. My boss was the best ever and was very great to work under. Pros: excellent benefits
Cons: not enough pay for what the company expects the employees to do on a day to day basis
Stressful job but benefits are good. Customers make the job very stressful, management isn't that helpful and the company does all of these massive system upgrades and expects for employees to adhere to strict phone budgets.
Productive, fun environment with opportunities for advancement.

The typical workday was a 10 hour shift. I learned how to read a pack recipe and pack customer orders according to company guidelines. Co-workers had a very pleasant attitude and worked as a team getting work order lots out on schedule.

Cons: short breaks, 30 min lunches.
Productive workplace with a diversity culture. Inbound calls begin at 3:30PM. Shift ends at 12:00 Midnight.... 30 min lunch. 15 min. breaks. No social activities...the enjoyable part of the job is resolving problems for our customers.
