Great Place to work. Fast pace kind of job theat keeps you on your toes.
Order Entry Representative (Current Employee), Port Saint Lucie, FLJanuary 25, 2014
Pros: we have employee apreciation days
Cons: the limit on how many hours an employee can pick up(scheduling) not allowing for flexibility
Basically I just answer phone calls pertaining to people interested in making a purchase. Some days I have to answer phone calls about discrepancies regarding shipment or payment options. Many times I have to clarify exactly what the television host is saying to the customer especially if it's an electronic.

Diplomat (Former Employee), San Antonio, TXJanuary 18, 2014
The workday started at 8am and we would go to our desks and start taking calls, most calls were quick and friendly. We had scheduled breaks and a full lunch. The supervisors and managers were wonderful and very professional.

Great Job
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Chesapeake, VAJanuary 16, 2014
Pros: customers, co-workers
Cons: breaks seemed to short on busy days
My job was to assist customer by phone. I learned to treat a customer the way I wanted to be treated when I am a customer. My supervisorer were a great help when needed. Co-workers were helpful and fun to be around. the hardest part of the job sometimes was answering questions over and over again. The most enjoyable part of the job was helping customers – more... with their problems with orders. – less

Pros: i enjoyed everything about the company
Cons: no issues
The entire QVC team was great, there was always a helping hand. I would start my shift at 10:00 pm until 6:30 am, to place orders for the general public that called in to place orders for items they view on the television or online. I would open new member account, process QVC credit cards. The most enjoyable part was speaking to the different people – more... and I was able to assist during the Holiday season. – less

Great work environment, friendly staff and management. Enjoyed all of my co-workers and made good friends quickly. Learned a lot of customer service and would have loved to keep as a permanent job position but it was only a seasonal position.

Outlet Summary
Key Holder (Former Employee), Mebane, NCJanuary 2, 2014
Pros: if you work, it is noticed.
Cons: discipline can be too soft.
Management was fun, always coming up with new themes to entertain the employees. A sense of friendship is built between all of the members of the store staff, and effectively so. The job itself is really easy, almost too easy. At many points, you will see a lot of boredom, even though there is usually something that could be done. This is at most a – more... seasonal job, and when slow hits, it hits hard. If you are not full-time, expect a loss in hours. The staff is unique, which is definitely a plus. Diversity is appreciated and QVC outlet sets a great example for welcoming new-hires. – less

Challenging and Exciting Workplace
Packer (Former Employee), Rocky Mount, NCDecember 3, 2013
My typical work day consisted of packing merchandise according to pack slips and occasionally worked in shipping. I learned the proper way of packaging for merchandise and the proper ways of shipping. The management team was wonderful. Co-workers were friendly and entertaining. The hardest part of the job was loading merchandise to be shipped until – more... I got the hang of it. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with friendly people and my position as a packer, it seemed as if the time was flying by. – less
