Assistant Manager (Former Employee), melbourne, flAugust 20, 2014
It was great to work there. Great paying job. But as a manager you can not have a personal life and a work life, because you work over 50 hrs a week. people in corporate does not help you like they act/say they would.

Night Manager (Former Employee), Suwanee, GAAugust 19, 2014
Pros: free drinks and going out of date food to eat.
Cons: no time in the day to do anything you need to because your sleeping til your next shift.
A lot of cleaning as night manager and a lot of reports and paperwork to do as well, but over all a great place to work if you have the right crew to help you get it all done.

Productive workplace with bad communication skills
Shift Manager (Former Employee), Canton, GaJuly 24, 2014
The lack of communication skills is a difficult subject to touch upon. Training and developing our peers seemed like it was last on the to do list. The hardest part of the job was trying to balance my daughter and my job, considering the company wanted me to put the company first. There were most co-workers I got along with, and then there were some – more... that just didnt care. I am the type of person I put pride into most everything I do. I set high standards for myself to acheive my long term goals. – less

Pros: bonuses were great when you kept your sells up.
Cons: trying to keep your eyes on all the customers to make sure they were not stealing.
Your going from the time you get there till when you leave. Trying to make sure there was no thefts.

Overall: Sucked
Guest Service Associate (Former Employee), Orlando, FLJuly 23, 2014
Management sucked, a lot of gossiping, and I was sexually harassed by customers on a daily basis. You're expected to work throughout your shift with no break and will not be promoted to full time until you can perform the tasks that managers are required to perform so that they can call you to lead shift when a manager calls off.

Decent
Associate (Former Employee), Garland, TXJuly 18, 2014
Pros: co-workers
Cons: customers are very rude because this is a gas station convenience store.
This is a wonderful job for any high-school student. A typical day would be cashiering, greeting customers, keeping the drink station and floors clean, re-stocking snacks, drinks and other store items. Hardest part of the job is being treated poorly by customers. Management could use some tightening up, they will make you feel terrible if you ever get – more... sick. – less

Sales (Former Employee), Altamonte Springs, FLJuly 14, 2014
Pros: free movies and flexible hours
Cons: no cons
AMC was a phenomenal place to work. Co workers were a pleasure to work with, and made the job fun even when we got busy and it helped time fly by. The customers where great to serve because they were buying into the experience and I helped them obtain that experience. Management made it feel comfortable and ascertainable for us employees to meet our – more... job goals through out each work day. The management also made it easy for us if we needed a ear, or even if we had a idea to make the work more efficient. – less
