Unattainable KPIs in the roadside call centre, unless you are a personal friend of a team manager ie go to their house for dinner and socialise with them, them miraculously you win awards and always surge ahead. I wish members new how badly staff were treated. Racv is put up on a pedestal by the community but the way they treat staff leaves alot to be desired. Too long a toilet break...questioned about it. Too long on a call?? Someone allocated to peer over your shoulder and see what the problem is. Need a day off for something important ? Too bad if 2 others already have the day off. If you go on holidays and there is a day in the middle where there are already the max number of staff on leave, tough....come back for that one day in the middle of your leave. If you are incompetent, can't write an email to save yourself, constantly make mistakes and have no idea what you are doing, as long as you don't have an opinion and kiss butt, you are a shoe in for the management training program. Bullying is rife and nothing is really done to stop it. I have seen people have breakdowns and quit.

Oh, and a word of advice. If you have a complaint and you are courteous and nice about it, it won't get you anywhere! Drop some bad language and demand to speak to a supervisor... They have to put you through!!!!!
