Job Duties :

Design, develop, and implement statistical programs for web based systems. Perform statistical analysis using SAS/STAT applications and all aspects of analysis, design, development and implementation including data extraction and manipulation, writing macros and reporting. Prepare statistical summary tables, listing and graphics. Create and modify general SAS application codes and macros. Create and maintain study reports for ISS and ISE using SAS applications. Modify and update current software to improve performance. Provide assistance to technical team to ensure system operates in compliance with specifications. Implement statistical algorithms and analysis routines needed to produce derived data or perform QC checks. Perform adhoc queries and User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for various application and reports. Strong UNIX Shell Scripting, skills using Korn Shell (KSH). Solid understanding of object oriented design (OOD) and software development life cycle (SDLC). Experience in using SAS/STAT procedures such as Proc Reg, Proc Compare, Proc Means, Proc GLM, Proc ANOVA, Proc Freq, Proc Means, Proc Contents, Proc Sort, Proc Univariate, Proc Transpose, Proc GPLOT, Proc Chart and developing SAS procedures, macros and application for data users, data cleansing and reporting. Must be familiar with BASE, SAS (MACROS, ODS, SQL), SAS/BASE, SAS/ETL Studio and SAS/ETS, SAS/ACCESS, SAS/ASSIST, SAS/CONNECT, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/STAT, Oracle 8i/9i, DB2, Sybase IQ, FSecure, C, C++, PERL, Visual Basic, VISUAL BASIC C++, VISUAL J++, FORTAN, Xml, Html, SQL,PL/SQL, MATLAB, ANSYS, FLUENT, UNIX and LINUX. SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 required.


Applicants must have Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Management of Technology (or its U.S. equivalent) [Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Management of Technology (or its U.S. equivalent) plus 5 years of experience in the field]. Employer is willing to accept any suitable combination of education and experience. This is Senior Level position and no training will be given, Work Schedule, 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Salary: $108,368.00 annually (Includes all the benefits).
