Fun work place I worked with a great sales team!
Account Executive (Former Employee), Columbus, OHJune 24, 2014
Pros: pearks
A typical day at work was fast-pace full of excitment with pressure to hit daily deadlines.

I really learned a lot about how to really connect with my clients and grow my client relashionships.

I worked with a very seasoned sales team. I was able to learn a great deal from my team. We all became like family.

The hardest part of the job was dealing with client deadlines and matching them up with my deadlines.

I really enjoyed all of the pearks !

Fun place to work, was labor intensive and required long hours
National Sales Manager (Former Employee), Cleveland, OhioMarch 9, 2014
Pros: got tickets to all the latest shows for free
Cons: evening & weekend work required
I was responsible for the top 10% of radio station's revenue. In an average day I would speak to clients from all over the country to assess their current marketing strategies and create/implement a plan that would be helpful for them in the African-American markets.

This company is a great doorway into the industry however longevity and job security can be questionable when you look at the amount of employment changes within their corporation over the last several years.

Pros: you meet different people (celebrities) and can obtain various connections.
Cons: very little room for advancement
On a typical day I am in the studio, monitoring and producing radio shows and commercials. Working in radio I have learned how to communicate with different types of people. Management and co-workers work well together at Radio One. I never found the job to be difficult. The job itself is the most enjoyable part.

Pros: excellent work benefits
I scored a great opportunity to work for this well known radio station and I made sure that every day was a happy and exciting day at the station. The environement was always fun and exciting and the opportunity to learn was always prevelent. I never had one problem with my co-workers and when I had misunderstandings they never created grudge like attitudes because of my personality to never harbor hatred or negative feelings in the work place. Their were really no hard parts to this job because I was doing what I love. I enjoyed every part of this employment.
